It can render a bricked card for sure, but even a totally different PCB card will take a flash the odd time but the card won't work but can be brought back to life if one knows what they're doing People that don't know how to flash, or have a back up plan shouldn't flash period, end of discussion.
To the op, I run a X and a and actually have zero issues with studdering. When I was dealing with RMA they sent a v1 card and it stuttered like mad, but even testing other v1 cards its clear the 2 cards were completely different.. Same memory, bit the v1's wouldn't clock very well but 2 of the same cards with the same layout work extremely well together.

Id love to try crossfiring my and Crossfired and before and was a bit disapointed with the results and have always considered a single gpu to be a better solution. Joined Oct 17, Messages 9, 2. The question I have is, Will a amd a10 work with a r7 x and later with an r9 or x? If not what CPU can I get budget wise to work with the R x for the time being and then upgrade to the R9 or x?
Thank you so much for answering the question if you can. Joined Apr 20, Messages 21, 4. R7 x might be a bit too powerful to crossfire with that CPU - Most folks would recommend a r7 or Just some guy New Member. Joined Jul 10, Messages 6 0. Bit wrong on that regard.

I just read that you can only crossfire gpu's with the same chips so a can only crossfire with other BARTS chips but someone is trying to sell me a saying it will work!??! Sakkura Illustrious. Think of a farmer with a plough and one horse. One horse will get the job done yet by adding a second or third horse, you'll plough through that farmland much quicker and hopefully more efficiently as the weight of that plough is distributed much more evenly.
That's roughly the same idea for graphics cards. One card can do the job sufficiently, but with two or more you can achieve much more. Multi GPU rendering -- the idea is not new at all There are multiple ways to manage two cards rendering one frame; think of Super tiling, it's a popular form of rendering.
