I can't really tell who is funnier, Drake or Josh, because they are both funny in their own way! Common Sense, why didn't you put down violence on this show? Have you ever seen Drake and Josh slap, push, and pull each other? I know it is funny, but it can leave a bad message to siblings! Anyway, this show is funny! They don't make new episodes anymore, so you have to find this show on TEENick!

Adult Written by Mikestvreviews June 23, Best teen sitcom ever Drake and Josh is one of the funniest and most memorable teen sitcoms ever and just like spongebob can use any scene to describe any event.

Classic show with memorable moments. Helped me decide. Adult Written by nachiux January 25, Adult Written by QueenofRider November 25, Always has been one of my favorite shows! When I was 6 years old I started watching this show back when it premiered in , it's always been one of my favorite shows.

I never thought it was ever bad in anyway, neither did my mom whom would watch it all the time with me and loved it too. Yes, there's kissing and a few bad things that some people may not like, but you know most things that happen in this shows and many other shows and movies that people think aren't appropriate for kids at a certain age are just a part of life and they're going to learn about it eventually anyways.

So, I find nothing wrong with young kids watching it, I watched it young and I'm fine and still loving the show to this day. Adult Written by clarence August 5, Adult Written by RyanD 1 July 23, Drake and Josh is a great teen comedy that explores common teen issues.

Drake and Josh is a great show. My twin brother and I were huge fans of this show back before it was in syndication. We taped the new episodes on Nickelodeon's TeenNick lineup each week and we found it very entertaining. There's a reason "Drake and Josh" has always been a perennial hit among teenagers and young adults.

It is very funny with clever plotlines. Drake and Josh, the two title characters, are stepbrothers who are polar opposites. Both attend the same high school. Drake loves junk food ironic since in the early seasons Josh was considered the heavier of the two , playing guitar, ping pong games, and dating hot girls. He is often seen as being too lackadaisical when it comes to taking responsibility especially where school is concerned. Josh loves dancing, magic, Oprah, video games, and keeping his grades high.

Drake appears to be the "cooler" of the two and Josh is portrayed as being "nerdier" e. Anyway, just a synopsis. The show has other great characters like Megan, Drake's devious 11 yr old sister Miranda Cosgrove who loves to watch Drake and josh squirm at her myriad pranks and takes pleasure in making her too buffony brothers lives miserable.

The father Walter the weatherman is odd and funny too. The show is a real treat for tweens and the crowd. Their parents decide to put them in the Steered Straight program so they know what it is like to go to jail. However, this takes a turn for the worse when their cop car gets hijacked by a real criminal. Drake and Josh assume the names on their fake IDS Jefferson Steelflex and Alvin Yakitori and inadvertently lead a group of criminals to their house in a plot to kidnap the governor.

The brothers are able to drive them out of the house by putting on a hilarious act where Drake beats Josh with a banana and rips out his hand in one of the funniest episodes of the show.

Meanwhile, Drake has skipped gym class for months and steals Josh's dance partner so he can compete in the contest and have enough credits to graduate. After an altercation between Drake and Josh's dance partners, the two decide to dance together in an iconic dance performance where the two win the contest and share the school credit.

Similar to season 2's "The Bet," "Who's Got Game" has Drake and Josh betting against each other to see who can get more dates in a week after the two fight over a girl. Drake soon finds a girl named Carly , who he wants to focus all his attention on, but when she finds out about their bet, she breaks up with him.

Meanwhile, Josh gets dating advice from his mom and ends up with a montage of dates. Drake wins back Carly by being honest with many of the people he lied to, and Josh wins the bet. In this very popular episode of the show, Walter brings Josh to do the weather broadcast on TV. However, after Megan scares Josh about his fear of messing up, Josh breaks into a twitching outbreak on TV. This uncomfortably hysterical scene gets even better when Josh takes off his jacket and reveals the soaked underarms of his shirt.

Meanwhile, Drake and his band are practicing for a talent show. When a rival music group steals Drake's song, Drake invites Josh onstage to help him win his confidence back with an epic performance of "Soul Man" from the Blues Brothers. This never failed to make audiences laugh as he was regularly confronted with his family's favoritism towards his rival.

While Drake and Josh were regularly getting into trouble, so was their little sister Megan. She may have looked like a sweet and innocent grade-schooler, but in reality, she was a mischievous little genius who loved to make her brothers suffer. Megan regularly pranked her brothers and got them into trouble which often prompted them to shout or whisper "Megan!

It's hard to think of one episode where the words "Megan" weren't uttered at least once - that's how hilarious this running gag was. During the second season, Josh decides to apply for his dream job: working at the Premiere, the local movie theater in town. While Josh gets the job, it's not all it's cracked up to be because of his high strong boss Helen.

While at first Helen regularly forgets who Josh is, her attitude towards him eventually turns into pure indifference when she meets Drake. Despite being a terrible employee and only working there for a week, Helen loves Drake and would do anything to protect him.

The same can not be said about Josh who she regularly bullies and relies on for odd jobs, like helping her after she has eye surgery. Over the course of the four seasons, Josh's character grew tremendously and became less of the nerdy brother and more the caring and cautious one. However, the early seasons definitely relied on his nerdiness to be funny which lead to him talking in odd ways. One of Josh's running gags in the earlier seasons that died off a bit was his need to repeat certain phrases and exaggerate them.

This most commonly occurred with the word "emphasis. Another running gag that was featured in the earlier seasons was Josh's obsession with science far. As the nerd of the family, Josh always wanted to win the science fair.
